ILIMALETHU Development Association was registered in 2005 as a national non-governmental organization (NGO) not-for-profit, and was born out of the need to facilitate and improve the pace of integrated and sustainable rural development and urban renewal in the poorest communities of South Africa . All the members are committed to be development catalysts that can make a visible and permanent contribution towards the advancement and upliftment of communities for the benefit of current and future generations. Our motivation and inspiration is driven by the ethos and values of ubuntu.
